This is a service to restore carpets or rugs that have lost their colour to bleach (And other sources of colour damage chemicals). It is a very cost-effective alternative to replacement.
DONT THROW AWAY THAT CARPET.
DONT MAKE IT WORSE
I have bleach on my rug what do i do?
FIRST. DO NOT PANIC. Trying to salvage the rug yourself could cause more damage. Contact us on tel:07946 431816 or Email us using our Contact form. We will then discuss your options on how we move forward to repair the area.
how to stop it getting worse
The first thing with a fresh bleach stain, is gently with water and a paper towel, try to blot up any residual bleach. Be careful not to scrub or rub the bleach, as this could worsen the stain.
how long does it take?
This can range from a few hours, to 2+ days.
will it change all the colours?
Bleach removes the colours from the fabric, so our option is to put the dye back in to the specific spots. This is a complex and skilled procedure.
how much does it cost?
Unfortunately, this is one of those questions where the answer is the dreaded “It depends”. There are so many factors regarding carpet or rug style, and saze / age of bleach. We would recommend you call us for a free estimate.
where do you cover in the uk?
We are proud to cover ALL of the UK. No matter where you are based. We are able to help you.
Will this work with wine/urine/other
In most cases, yes we can fix a bleach stain. Wine, and many others. Some are more difficult to deal with. Pet Urine for example depends on age and if the client has attempted it first.
Is this just a temporary solution?
The dye we use, is permanent. It will last and degrade as high end dyes will do naturally. But it will not wash away and spread out like other cheaper dyes.
